Cramp-busting herbal compress
Suitable for menstrual cramps, abdominal cramps and for relief of general muscular aches, spasm and pain.

1 Large pot
1 Towel
1 Hot plate
- 20 grams Ginger root (dried)
- 10 grams Jasmine flowers (dried)
- 10 grams Japanese Knotweed
- 5 drops German Chamomile essential oil
- 5 drops Valerian essential oil
- 3 drops Lavender essential oil
- Water
Put the ginger in hot water in a small pot and simmer (as above) for around 20 minutes.
Next, remove from heat and add the flowers. Leave to sit for 15 mins and it should cool a little.
Strain and when the temperature is suitable, dip in a towel and apply to the abdominal area. Apply as often as needed.
