Metabolic Boosting Seed Mix
Use as a topping on breads, salads, stews and anything you like to boost your digestive fire and metabolic function.
- 1 tsp Coriander seeds
- 1 tsp Cumin seeds
- 1 tsp Fennel seeds
- 2 Tbsp Pistachio nuts or Almonds
- 2 Tbsp Sesame seeds
- 2 tsp Flaxseeds
- 1 tsp Chia seeds
- 1 tsp Parsley dried flakes
- 1 Tbsp Nigella sativum seeds
- 2 Tbsp Seaweed/Nori flakes
- 1/2 tsp Himalayan pink salt or your choice of salt flakes
Combine the coriander, cumin, fennel and nuts in a fry pan and dry fry until you can smell the aroma of roasting nuts and seeds. Once warmed, place to the side to cool.
Measure out all the other ingredients and combine in a large mixing bowl.
Place the cooled seed/nut roast mix in a mortar and pestle and grind to break the seeds and nuts up.
Mix everything together to create your amazing metabolic boosting mix! Use as a topping on anything from toast, stews, soups, salads and rice and more.
